LO4: Selecting a Suitable Certificate for our Film
I believe that our film, Silent Captive, is a 15A age rating. The BBFC states that mulitiple aspects of our film would not be
suitable for younger ages because of a few things that feature in it. There is no use of drugs,
nudity, or strong violence in Silent Captive but there is a strong sense
of threat from the protagonist's brother, Sam, as he threatens him with phrases that would imply violence against him. There's only a small amount of violence, which can be seen when the protagonist (Oscar) is thrown to the ground. There are also a mild sense of mature themes of loss and guilt
that are explored in the film which would belong in something of this age rating. The general tone and
narrative may distress a younger person or they may not know what's going on. There is also no strong language
or reference to sex at any point in our film, so overall it strikes a
good balance that would be suitable for a 15A age rating.

LO3: Copyright Permission for Music
We do not need to gain permission to use any music in our film, due to the music being composed by ourselves.

LO3: Offline Edit
The offline edit was created by Alister Martin and Louis Norton:
Below is the offline edit to our film 'Silent Captive' and unfortunately at the time we either didn't have the footage or we needed to re-shoot some scenes.
